Maoist Chair Prachanda challenges UML Chair Oli to prove allegations against him

KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has challenged CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli to prove the allegations relating to his (Prachanda’s) connection with former King Gynendra Shah.

Earlier, UML Chair Oli had alleged in a public program on Wednesday that Prachanda had reached a five-point agreement with former King Shah in 2005.

Objecting to Oli’s remark, Prachanda issued a statement on Thursday challenging him (Oli) to prove a “five-point agreement” allegedly inked with the monarch in power in 2005.

He (Prachanda) demanded Oli to apologize in public for lying.

The Maoist Center Chair accused UML Chair Oli of being synonymous to lies, treachery, dishonesty and deception.

Similarly, Prachanda also claimed that his analysis of the character of today’s capitalism is correct. Yet, he added that his party was in favor of the interests of millions of investors in Nepal.
