Seven cops injured in clash with locals in Rukum West



RUKUM WEST:  Seven policemen have been injured in a clash between local youths and police at Musikot, the district headquarters of Rukum West.

According to the District Police Office, Rukum West, seven policemen, including Assistant Inspector Komal Raj Bohara, were injured in the clash at Bagbazar last night.

The injured Assistant Inspector Bohora has been brought to Kathmandu for further treatment as treatment at a local hospital was not possible.

The remaining six are undergoing treatment at a local hospital. A clash took place between police and youths when a truck (Ra 1 Kha 2392) parked near Bagbazar of Musikot Municipality Ward No. 1 was attacked with stones and a glass of beer. Police have arrested six youths involved in the incident. Four people have fled away.
