Nepal sees 1,511 new COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 430 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,511 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,165 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 346 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 293 persons in Kathmandu, 98 in Lalitpur, and 39 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 430 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 11 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,689 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
