Leaders could not save UML, salute to cadres who kept party united: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: UML Chairman KP Oli has said leaders were not able to prevent the party from splitting but cadres kept the party united.

Addressing district level training program in Kathmandu on Thursday, Chairman Oli said that the UML leaders could not save the party. “Leaders could not save the UML. Salute to you cadres who saved the UML,” said Chairman Oli, stressing cadres saved the party unity instead of leaders.

He recalled that the UML united with other communists, emphasizing that plots were created to dismantle the communist movement and for the same everyone was hell-bent on splitting the UML.
