NEPSE decreases by 76.65 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 76.65 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2812.39 points.

A total of 16.46 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 9.03 billion.

Shares of all groups, including banks, hotels, trade, hydropower, finance, insurance, and manufacturing, declined today.

Of the 229 companies traded today, 222 declined.

Shares of Karnali Development Bank have declined by about 8.5 points today.

Shares of Shree Investment Finance and ICFC Finance decreased more than seven percent.

Likewise, shares of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Company have increased 10 percent despite the overall market slump.

The shares of Arun Valley Hydro worth Rs 386 million have been bought and sold the most in terms of transaction.
