Health worker manhandled at Hetauda Hospital



HETAUDA: A health worker has been manhandled at Hetauda Hospital on Wednesday night.

The relatives of the patient manhandled the health worker at the hospital, run Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences.

According to the Hospital, the health worker—Samriddhi Shrestha, 20, sustained injury when some people attacked her.

A patient injured in a road accident was brought to the hospital for treatment. The relatives of the patient thrown a metal chair at the health workers, citing there was no stretcher to take the injured at emergency.

The irate relatives of the patient had taken him at Churehill Hospital at Hetauda-11 after the incident.

The hospital protested the attack upon the health workers and informed about the incident asking to take necessary action against those involved in the incident, said Chairperson of the Hospital Development and Management Committee, Rajesh Prasain.
