Khati sworn-in as Attorney General



KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumser JB Rana has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Attorney General Khamma Bahadur Khati.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at Supreme Court on Friday.

Earlier, the swearing-in of Attorney General used to be held in the presence of the President. But since last March, all swearing-in administered by the CJ are organized at Supreme Court.

Khati was appointed Attorney General on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Thursday.
