UML PP meeting underway in New Baneshwor

Disgruntled faction abstains from PP meeting as well



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the parliamentary party (PP) of the CPN-UML has started at Lhotse Hall of the Parliament building in New Baneshwor Friday.

The faction of senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal is not attending the meeting called by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

Earlier, Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai said the role of the party in the parliament, which is sitting coming Sunday, would be discussed in the PP meeting.

UML PP is holding its first PP meeting after the party left the government this week. Earlier, the Standing Committee meeting of the party was held at Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal area of Patan.
