Data not stolen from its server: Nepal Telecom



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Telecom has said that data stored in its server has not been stolen through any attack and any hacker.

The Telecom Company had conducted investigation by closing the suspicious devices.

Issuing a press release, the Company mentioned that the media reports that had been published stating that the data in the Nepal Telecom server had been stolen and put for sale are not true.

The Telecom has been utilizing various measures to protect the data of its subscribers and will do so in the coming days too, according to the Telecom.

The company is committed to protecting the data of its subscribers, reads the press statement.
