NC President Deuba directs party leaders and cadres to engage in relief and rescue



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the party leaders and cadres to get engaged in the relief and rescue works in flood-ravaged areas.

He took to social media to direct the party ranks and files to involve in relief and rescue efforts during the troubled times of natural disaster in the country, mostly in Sindhupalchowk and Manang.

Former Prime Minister Deuba has also demanded the government step up immediate rescue efforts and announce a relief package to the disaster survivor families.

The incessant rain-triggered flood and landslide have caused loss of lives and properties in Melamchi Bazaar of Sindhupalchowk and other areas.
