8 more people succumb to coronavirus in Banke

BANKE: Eight people have died in Banke district due to coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.

The focal person at the district-level Corona Crisis Management Center, Tej Oli said three people each from Banke and Bardiya, and one each from Rolpa and Kailali died while undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Banke district.

He said that a 60-year-old man from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis-19 Banke died at 6 am on Sunday.

Likewise, a 67-year-old man from Kohalpur Municipality-15 Banke died at 6:30 am on Sunday, and a 52-year-old woman from Raptisonari Rural Municipality-2, Banke succumbed to coronavirus at 2 am on Sunday.

Similarly, a 71-year-old man from Madhuban Municipality-9, Bardiya died at 6:30 pm on Saturday, a 50-year-old man from Badaiyatal Rural Municipality-1 died at 7:30 pm on Saturday and an 87-year-old man from Badaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 died at 2 am on Sunday morning.

Likewise, a 52-year-old man from Gauriganga Rural Municipality-4 Kailali died while undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College on Saturday while a 35-year-old man from Rumtigadhi-3, Rolpa died at Bheri Hospital at 11:30 pm last night.
