KATHMANDU: Heavy rain with hailstorm hit the Kathmandu Valley on Friday afternoon, bringing respite from the smog in the Valley.

The downpour also triggered waterlogging in several parts of the capital city.

Several streets in the capital were flooded.

Normal life has been affected due to the rainfall with people rushing toward shelters in the streets.

People were seen struggling to cross the roads in several parts of the capital.

Meanwhile, in Lalitpur, the Mangalbazar area was flooded with rainwater.
