KMC instructs to close schools for a week if students or teachers test positive for coronavirus

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has urged the concerned to close schools for a week if any student or a teacher have tested positive for coronavirus.

KMC’s education department on Friday evening sent a letter to schools in the metropolis urging them to close schools because of the coronavirus spread.

The KMC has urged schools to teach the students through alternative means.

Likewise, it has also urged schools which are not infected with the coronavirus to meet the health protocol.
