NC Vice President Nidhi expresses discontent over govt

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi expressed dissatisfaction over the government for not mobilizing the Parliament at the all-party meeting held at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas, Tuesday.

The NC leader expressed his discontent over the government’s nonchalant attitude towards Parliament as the Prime Minister KP Oli-led government did not provide any business to the House of Representatives that convened its third session earlier today after its reinstatement by the Supreme Court.

Only a handful of leaders had spoken at the meeting called by the president to discuss the current political crisis facing the country.

Nidhi heavily came down upon the government for dissolving the Parliament on December 20 and not providing business to the lower House after its reinstatement.
