Madhav-Jhalanath faction reluctant to attend PM Oli’s tea party



KATHMANDU: The Madhav Nepal faction of the ruling CPN-UML has remained adamant to not attend the tea-party organized by Prime Minister KP Oli on Tuesday.

PM Oli has organized a tea party at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 11 am on Tuesday.

However, despite PM Oli’s efforts to narrow down the differences, the disgruntled Madhav Nepal faction has shown reluctance to attend the tea party.

It should be noted that talks were held between Prime Minister Oli and senior party leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal faction talks on Monday amid heightened bitterness within the UML.

PM Oli, who is also the UML Chairman, has invited senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal to the tea party.
