NOC hikes petrol, diesel prices



KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products yet again.

It has increased the price of diesel, petrol and kerosene by Rs 2 per liter with effect from Tuesday midnight.

According to Binit Mani Upadhyaya, spokesperson of the NOC, with the increase in the price, a liter of petrol will now cost Rs 114 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs 97 per liter and aviation fuel Rs 67 per liter.

The NOC has claimed that the price had to be increased in a bid to adjust the price as the price of crude oil has gone up in the international market.
