Nation at stake due to NCP’s intra-party conflict: NC leader Karki

ITAHARI: Central Committee member of Nepali Congress (NC) and former Finance Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has accused Nepal Communist Party (NCP) of putting the nation at stake for the struggle of power in the party.

Speaking at a program organized in Itahari Tuesday, NC leader Karki claimed that the country was in crisis due to the struggle for power in NCP.

“The nation has been at stake due to the power struggle of various factions in the NCP,” Karki said, adding, “NCP has betrayed the people who voted it hoping for stability and prosperity in the nation, so it is up to NC now to help the nation overcome the crisis.”

He assured that NC would protect the nation and lead it to peace and prosperity as the people have come to stand with NC again.
