NEPSE gains 15.5 points creating new high

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index on Tuesday gained 15.5 points closing at 2,601.51.

This has been the highest closing in the NEPSE’s history.

The index today opened at 2,615.36 and made an intraday high at 2,631.37, but closed at 2,601.51.

On Tuesday, as many as 17,732,765 shares traded hands through 76,493 transactions.

Meanwhile, Nabil Bank Limited made the highest individual scrip turnover of just over Rs. 52.99 crores. Similarly, the Nepal Bank Limited’s shares traded the most.

As many as six companies hit the positive circuit on Tuesday.
