NC leader Thapa congratulates reelected President Deuba

Urges to run party as per system and democratic values



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa, who is the candidate of general secretary, has congratulated newly elected president Sher Bahadur Deuba urging the latter to lead the party in accordance with the system and democratic values.

Posting a message on social media today, Thapa has congratulated Deuba for his reelection to the party presidency stating that he would cooperate him to transform the party for the campaign of prosperous Nepal.

“Respected Sher Bahadur Deuba, congratulations on being reelected as the president,” Thapa wrote, adding, “I am hopeful that you will steer the party in accordance with the party system and democratic values as per the expectation of the entire NC cadres and leaders.”

Thapa has pledged that he will cooperate Deuba in the transformation of the party that is required to achieve the goal of the prosperous Nepal campaign.
