NEPSE increases by 26.44 points, closes at 2,715.35

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 26.44 points Monday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2,715.35 points.

A total of 8.63 million shares of 228 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.734 billion.

All sub-indices of the market increased and turned green today. Shares of development banks gained the most by 2.64 percent.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 35.46 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 750 per share. The shares of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL) traded the most.

A total of three companies hit the positive circuit by gaining 10 percent. Meanwhile, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) lost the most by 4.88 percent.
