Nepali migrant worker dies in Malaysia



KUALA LUMPUR: A Nepali migrant worker who was in Malaysia in connection with foreign employment has died.

Sanjita Thing Tamang, a resident of Panchakanya village in Nuwakot, died on Saturday.

Tamang, 26, died at the local Tongsing Hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

Tamang had been working at the Nepali restaurant ‘Meri Bassai’ in Kuala Lumpur for the past two years.

The body will be sent to Nepal after completing the necessary process in coordination with the restaurant where he works, said a Nepali Embassy source in Malaysia.
