Maoist Center holding CC meeting today as well



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center is holding a meeting of its Central Committee today as well.

Sunday’s meeting to be held this morning will discuss the political and organizational proposal submitted by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on Saturday.

The meeting will endorse the resolution incorporating the suggestions of the central members and also decide on the organizational structure of the party and the party’s national conference.

In Saturday’s meeting, Prachanda had submitted an eight-page long political and organizational proposal including maintaining the Left-Democratic Alliance till the next election.

The central members have been divided into eight groups to discuss Prachanda’s proposal.

Likewise, a meeting of the party’s Standing Committee is also being held prior to the CC meeting.
