Jhapali Samaj Kuwait helps in repatriation of dead woman in Kuwait



DOHA: Jhapali Samaj Kuwait has helped in the repatriation of a Nepali woman by providing financial assistance.

According to Raju Dhimal, the vice-president of the Samaj, the Samaj handed over 385 KD approximately, 147 thousand rupees to Nepali Embassy to help in the repatriation of Muna Rai an inhabitant of Jhapa who had died in Kuwait.

After the money was submitted to the embassy, the embassy facilitated in sending her dead body to Nepal, Dhimal said.

The donation was collected after the body was left unattended due to lack of funds. Deceased Rai had reached Kuwait illegally via India.
