KATHMANDU: The lockdown has been extended for a week with some relaxations.

A meeting of chief district officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur held recently had decided to extend the lockdown for a week with some relaxations.

With the decisions, hardware, book and stationary shops and online delivery will be allowed to operate.

These shops will open until 11 am today while online delivery will continue until 7 pm.

Likewise, groceries, departmental stores, vegetable and fruits, dairy, meat and cooking gas shops are allowed to operate until 11 am.

Earlier, they used to open until 9 am till yesterday.
