Gandaki province sees 770 fresh COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

14 die of coronavirus in 24 hours



POKHARA: Gandaki province witnessed 770 fresh cases of coronavirus infection in past 24 hours.

According to the Gandaki Province Health Directorate, the highest number of new cases Saturday has been in Myagdi district. 230 people were infected in Myagdi in 24 hours.

Similarly, there have been 168 cases in Kaski and 147 in Nawalparasi East.

The directorate informed that 14 people have died in past 24 hours.

According to the directorate, Kaski has the highest number of deaths. Of those killed in Gandaki in the last 24 hours, six are from Kaski, three from Parvat, two from Syangja, one each from Myagdi, Tanahu and Gorkha.

Meanwhile, the death toll from coronavirus in the province has reached 355 till date.
