Nepal Super League: Kathmandu and Dhangadhi locking horns for title today

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Rayzers and Dhangadhi FC are locking horns in the final match of Nepal Super League on Saturday.

The match will be played at Dharath Stadium in Tripureshwor at 5 pm.

Kathmandu and Dhangadhi have reached the final after 24 matches that were played under round robin format.

Organized by Nepal Sports and Events at the technical assistance of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), a total of seven teams representing various cities had taken part in the tournament.

These two teams have already met twice before reaching the final. Dhangadhi defeated Kathmandu in both of the matches. In the League stage, Dhangadhi beat Kathmandu 3-0.

Similarly, Dhangadhi defeated Kathmandu 2-1 in the first qualifier.

Kathmandu reached the final by defeating Lalitpur City 3-0 in the second qualifier.

Dhangadhi is led by goalkeeper of Nepali national football team Kiran Chemjong while Kathmandu is captained by another national football team goalkeeper Bikesh Kuthu.
