Bara Police nabs a rapist

KATHMANDU: Bara Police has arrested a man of 30 on the charge of raping a girl on the pretext of getting her married soon.

According to the police, Ramesh Hajara, 30, of Jitpur Simara-10, has been nabbed for raping a teenager promising to marry her.

The alleged is found to have taken the 17-year-old teenager of Birgunj to a lodge and raped her time and again, the police said.

The police added that after the man’s dilly-dallying to the marriage proposal, the girl grew suspicious of his intention and shared her grief with her mother who filed a case against the alleged on March 5.
