NC need not be confused as reinstated House will lead the country to polls: Gagan Thapa

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has said that the reinstated House of Representatives (HoR) would lead the country to the polls.

Stating that rather than getting confused on the issue of the election, Thapa said the reinstated House would take the country to the election.

Speaking at a protest rally in Chitwan on Monday, Thapa said, “NC does not need to be confused whether the election will be held or not since the House, once restored, is sure to lead the country to elections.”

He also claimed that NC will garner a majority in the upcoming elections while coming down heavily on Prime Minister KP Oli for taking an “undemocratic and unconstitutional” step by dissolving the House.

Thapa alleged PM Oli for inviting a chaotic situation in the country by making regressive moves instead of heading towards his slogan of “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis”.
