BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister (CM) of Province 1 Sherdhan Rai is getting married on January 24.
According to family sources of Chief Minister Rai, the Chief Minister is getting married to a woman of Sherpa community.
The source revealed that the marriage ceremony will take place in Kathmandu whereas the banquet will take place in Biratnagar.
Earlier, CM Rai had been telling that he would get married only after deciding the name and permanent capital of Province 1.
As an impact of the ongoing conflict in the ruling Nepal Communist Party, a no-confidence motion has already been registered against CM Rai.
