NC President Deuba appeals all to make Saturday’s protest a success



KATHMANDU: On the eve of Nepali Congress’s nation-wide protest against the government’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR), the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appealed all to actively participate in the protest and make it a grand success.

Issuing a press release on Friday, NC President Deuba has appealed all to take part in the protest against the unconstitutional and undemocratic move of dissolving the parliament.

“I appeal to all democrats and friends of all committees and levels in the party to take part in the protest and show solidarity against unconstitutional and undemocratic move of the government,” NC President has appealed.

NC has condemned the dissolution of the parliament as unconstitutional and undemocratic.

Main opposition party in the parliament NC has called for a nation wide protest in all 753 local levels on January 16.

Earlier, NC had organized the protest against the dissolution of HoR in all province constituencies on January 9.
