Kanchanpur road mishap: 2 killed, 2 injured



KANCHANPUR: Two people have died in a motorcycle accident at Krishnapur municipality-5, Amkhaiya along the East-West Highway in the district.

The deceased have been identified as 25-five-year-old Ashish Joshi of Godawari Rice Mill and Janak Bohara of Krishnapur municipality-2, Bani, said District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The incident took place when the two motorcycles – Se. 6 Pa. 3167, and Supa. Pra. 01.00.7157 – collided head-on with each other at Amkhaiya on Thursday night.

Nishchal Rathore, 23, and Abhisek Chunara of Lamkichuha municipality were injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment in Dhangadhi, said police.
