Maoist Center SC discusses four agendas on Tuesday

Party statute endorsed



KATHMANDU: Key member of ruling alliance, CPN-Maoist Center’s Standing Committee meeting of Tuesday has discussed on four agendas including finalizing the party statute.

According to Maoist Center Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the meeting passed the party statute.

“Even though the statute has been prepared, the language still needs to be changed, so it has been passed with further work to be approved by the next Central Committee meet or National Conference,” Mahara said.

Similarly, the meeting has formed an Election Commission under the coordination of Bishnu Pukar Shrestha. The Commission will have 22 members.

Likewise, the meeting discussed the report of the task force formed to facilitate the unity between Maoists and other political parties.

The task force has been assigned to finalize the report and submit it in the next meeting.

Although the fourth agenda of the meeting was related to the adjustment of province officials, Mahara said that the meeting decided to do further homework on it.
