UML Chair Oli brands Prachanda a “deceitful leader”

JHAPA: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli came down heavily on Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” for being a deceitful leader.

Addressing a gathering of party cadres at Birtamod in Jhapa Tuesday, Chairman Oli branded Prachanda “traitorous leader” despite being a good father, a good uncle, and a good father-in-law.

“In fact, Madhav Nepal did not split the party, he merely left the party, which will not make a difference,” Oli said adding, “It was a conspiracy of Prachanda to split the UML.”

He also sniffed sarcasm over CPN Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal for leading a small faction, not a party.

Oli said Madhav Nepal cannot win the election of a ward member, forget about general elections.

Chairman Oli, who took most of his time to criticize Madhav Nepal, said, “He led the UML party for 16 years, became the Prime Minister, and finally went away with a small group.”
