Three killed, 24 injured in bus-truck collision in Nawalparasi



KATHMANDU: Three people have died in a bus-truck collision in Gandakot in Nawalpur district.

The deceased are two women and a man, according to DSP Dilip Kumar Giri of District Police Office, Nawalpur. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, said Giri.

As many as 24 people have been injured in the accident. They have been taken to Medical College Bharatpur for treatment.

The accident took place when a bus, Su. Pra. 02-001 Kha 1123, heading to Mahendranagar from Kakadbhitta collided head-on with a truck, Na 6 Kha 7126, coming from the opposite direction at Gaindakot this morning.
