Maoist Center Chair Prachanda proposes to hold Gen Convention from Dec 26



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has proposed to organize the party’s National Conference from December 26- 28.

Presenting a political and organizational proposal at the meeting of the party’s Central Committee meeting that started in Battisputali, Kathmandu on Saturday, Chairman Prachanda proposed to hold a national conference in December and organize the conference of all ward, district and province committees prior to that.

Prachanda has proposed to complete the distribution and renewal of party membership across the country by mid-September. He has proposed to organize the ward and village level conferences by mid-October.

Prachanda has also proposed to hold ward level conferences all across the country on October 6 and the village and municipality committee on October 16. Similarly, if the party authenticates Prachanda’s proposal the conference of 77 districts will be held on November 16.

Prachanda has proposed to hold the province level conference on December and national conference on December 26-28.
