Nepal records 2,905 new COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 425 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,905 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,010 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 895 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 294 persons in Kathmandu, 62 in Lalitpur, and 69 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 425 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 18 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,606 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
