NEPSE increases by 1.01 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 1.01 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2872.05 points.

A total of 44.73 million shares of 214 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.65 billion.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, decreased by 0.14 points and closed at 539.38 today.

Today, investors in Himalayan Power Partner Limited have earned the highest rate of 8.10 percent per share. Investors in Nabil Balance Fund-2 have lost the most at 2.83 percent per capita.

Shares of Gorkhas Finance had the highest turnover of Rs 294.769 million today.

On a numerical basis, Nabil Balance Fund-2 had the highest number of 1,18,29,714 shares and Nepal Infrastructure Development Bank had the highest number of 1,693 shares.

As the indices of mutual funds, finance, investment, hydropower, hotel, and tourism sub-groups rose today, the indices of all other sub-groups declined, according to Nepse.
