Active COVID-19 cases cross 500 in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR: The number active cases of COVID-19 has crossed 500 yet again in Bhaktapur district.

With 72 new cases, the number has reached 577 in the district, said District Health Office, Bhaktapur.

According to Krishna Mijar, the focal person of the Health Department, 295 males and 282 females are among those active cases in the district.

The number of active cases did not come down since infection cases exceeded the number of  those who recovered.

Bhaktapur recorded 72 new cases compared to 34 people who were discharged on Tuesday.
