KATHMANDU: A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a co-worker found dead in Bergen County, New Jersey, the United States of America, authorities said.
Milan Ghimire was arrested by police in The Bronx after Phu Tsewang, 56, was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Tsewang’s body was found by police about 9:45 p.m. at a home on Avenue A in Mahwah. Officers had been called to the home on a report of a shooting, Musella said.
The prosecutor did not say where the victim and Ghimire worked. Ghimire, who was also charged with weapons offenses and tampering with evidence, was held in New York pending extradition.
