Deuba-led govt vows to inoculate all citizens against COVID-19 by mid-April next year



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his commitments that he will administer COVID-19 vaccines to all the citizens by mid-April 2022.

A meeting of the Deuba-led cabinet held on Tuesday evening decided to inoculate all the citizens in the next nine months.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to make public the expenditure details made on the COVID-19 pandemic so far by the government, informed Minister for Law Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.

Likewise, the cabinet decided to provide COVID-19 risk allowance to all the frontline staffers including health workers, security personnel and cleaners among others within a week.

Minister Karki has been appointed as the Spokesperson of the government.
