Opposition alliance conclude JSP Chair Thakur and UML leader Nepal foiled their plan



KATHMANDU: The opposition alliance formerly planning to claim for new government has concluded that their plan to oust Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli was foiled by JSP Chair Mahantha Thakur and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The review meeting of the opposition alliance comprised of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-Maoist Center and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) held at NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha Friday decided to take further steps more cautiously.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav, among many others, had reached NC President Deuba’s residence for the review meet.

‘The role of Mahanta Thakur and Madhav Kumar Nepal helped  PM Oli,” a participant at the meet shared, “The leaders have agreed to retain the alliance and take further steps more carefully.”
