Health Ministry providing oxygen cylinders to hospitals in Valley today



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population is arranging oxygen cylinders to all the government and private hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley from today.

A secretary-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi took a decision to this effect.

The decision is being implemented from today, said Dr Jageshwor Gautam, the Spokesperson of the Health Ministry.

The Health Ministry is making arrangements in line with the Use of Medical Oxygen and its Requirements, 2078 BS. Earlier, it was being done by the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center.
