Maoist Center Chair Prachanda extends Ed-ul Fitr greetings



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has extended greetings to all the Muslim community on the occasion of the festival Ed-ul Fitr.

“I would like to extend best wishes to all the Muslim brothers and sisters living in Nepal and abroad on the occasion of Ed-ul Fitr, the greatest festival of the community,” reads a press note issued by Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda.

Prachanda in the message has said that Nepal has a unique identity in the world since it is a multi-national, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious country.

The Ed-ul Fitr festival has generated a feeling of religious tolerance and national unity among the Nepali community, Prachanda said in the press note.
