Oli govt is trying to usurp the rights of provinces: Prakash Man Singh

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has accused the current government of trying to usurp the rights of the provinces and the local levels.

Speaking at a program organized by Khairhani Municipal Committee of the party in Chitwan Wednesday, leader Singh alleged that KP Oli-led government has ensnared democracy and federalism.

He also claimed that the slogan “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali” can hardly be materialized by the government as the government has taken no initiatives in this regard.

Leader Singh added that despite having no wish to cling to power, the circumstances have made it essential for NC to lead the government to help the country overcome the ongoing political turmoil.
