NC women department demands one-third representation at all levels



KATHMANDU: Women Department of the Nepali Congress has issued a declaration demanding participation of women in the party’s leadership positions from center to ward level.

The department has demanded that women representation should be ensured either in the post of president or vice-president at all levels.

The declaration was issued following the department’s Bagmati Province-level gathering and training program held from March 13-14.

They have demanded the leadership to ensure one-third participation of women in all committees, ranging from ward level to Parliament.
