KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the government has tried to test the guts and patience of the people by arresting youth leader Ram Kumari Jhankri last week.

Accusing Prime Minister KP Oli and his faction of taking to regression, former Prime Minister Nepal claimed that treading on the path of regression, the Oli government has tried to test the guts and patience of the people so that it could go further ahead in its autocratic move.

“The plan is to arrest Ram Kumari Jhankri first and then arrest Madhav Kumar Nepal and Pushpa Kamal Dahal,” NCP chairman Nepal said while addressing a protest rally in Tehrathum against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) on Sunday.

He added, “We won’t tolerate any miscreant who comes to usurp the rights of the people.”

He accused that PM Oli was trying to be a dictator.
