Application collection under PM Employment Program begins



KATHMANDU: Collection of applications for job opportunities under the Prime Minister Employment Program has started.

To be a part of the program, unemployed people or low-income ones in the age group 18-59 can apply at their respective ward offices at the local level until 16 March.

The beneficiaries get a job for a minimum of 100 days. The government has launched this program aiming at providing social security to those who are poor.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security has urged local levels to accommodate the target beneficiaries in the program after collecting actual details of the unemployed.
