Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,943 with six new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as six COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,943 as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 403 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,66,546 in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 4,426 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 405 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,60,177 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 6 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1943.
