NC Prez Deuba-boarded chopper makes emergency landing in Gorkha



KATHMANDU: A helicopter with Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba on board has made an emergency landing in Gorkha.

The chopper made an emergency landing at Aanppipal in Palungtar while Deuba was heading to Parbat from Kathmandu, informed District Police Office (DPO), Gorkha.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of DPO, Gorkha Surendra Gurung said the chopper had landed at Palungtar for some time due to bad weather.

The chopper flew to Parbat after the weather improved, it is learnt. Deuba is addressing a cadres’ orientation program in Parbat today.
