UML Chair Oli stresses mutual understanding while electing delegates



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has called on all the party rank and file to elect their representatives through mutual understanding and through democratic norms and values.

Issuing a statement today Chairman Oli said that the mutual understanding forms basis for strong unity in the party while calling upon the party members to elect their representatives by capitalizing on the democratic norms.

” UML is a democratic party and we understand that democracy is not only a system but also process and method,” said Oli.

The competition between the parties should be healthy while mutual understanding within the party provides a basis for strong unity, he said.

UML is electing 1,999 representatives for the 10th General Convention of the party today.
